From the Dutch TV Guide: Through British Eyes André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra are world famous. The British people are also quite under the spell of the violin virtuoso. British SKY TV will air a ten part report series with a look behind the scenes of his concerts. In the first episode (from 2013) we see how the maestro prepares himself for his performances in his hometown of Maastricht. Here we will see performances by Jermaine Jackson and the Josti Band together on stage with Rieu. After Maastricht the British camera crew will follow him to Australia, Argentina and Mexico. We need to explain the last laughing towards the end. The guy next to Pierre had lost a bet with his friends and as a consequence he had to undergo a surprise hair cut. He had not seen it before but in the program the woolly hat was removed and then he found out that on the back of his head the Feyenoord logo (Rotterdam soccer club) had been created. He was shocked, since he was an Ajax fan (Amsterdam soccer club) and these clubs are rivals. Having heard about André’s darkening the ArenA (Ajax Stadium), he asked at the end how it was done, referring to his hair cut!
