Copenhagen Concert May 7th, 2015
On May 7th 2015 Ruud and Ineke attended the Copenhagen concert which at the same time was a nice opportunity to meet long term fan friends from Denmark, Sweden and England. Prior to the concert we had a nice dinner in the Forum restaurant together with Torben and Kirsten Esbensen, Anne Buch, and Marian Hilleberg. We are happy having them as friends for more than 10 years. The concert was wonderful as always. We heard the new (French) Platin Tenor Eric Reddet and the (Dutch) soprano Donij van Doorn for the first time. They were fantastic!! The Copenhagen audience responded in a great way and gave them a warm welcome. After having joined the Platin Tenors with André Rieu for 10 years, Thomas Greuel decided to leave the group in 2015. So Eric started the new May tour through Scandinavia in his place. Below you can watch a compilation of the Copenhagen concert, with a very fit André, dancing along with the Berlin Comedian Harmonists. We were happily surprised to see Gosia Loboda back in the orchestra. And we spotted Roger Diederen’s son Romano playing along with the orchestra (trumpet).

We like to thank Thomas Greuel for being part of the Platin Tenors for over 10 years. And we like to give a heartfelt welcome to Eric Reddet.
