First fan picnic on Saturday, July 4th 2026, in the Stadspark (City park), with totally 11 fans and 1 tenor

We had heard the news that Gary's father had passed away yesterday in Australia. So when he came to the fan picnic, he received our condolences and an extra hug. Fans in the pictures: Richard, Ruud, Angelica, Barbara, Linda, Peter Pullen. Robert and Sue Homewood (UK), Ruud, Angelica and Barbara Fischer (Germany).

As far as we know, there are two couples among the fans, who have been to the Vrijthof for all 20 years and have seen every concert there. (Torben and Kirsten Esbensen (DK), and Ruud and Ineke Elshout-Cornelissen (NL). As a result, they too are celebrating a 20th anniversary, just like André. Hip hip hooray! Viva Maastricht.

Oooh, we forgot Gary!! Of course he has been there also all 20 years in a row!! He belongs to the Johann Strauss Orchestra
