Jubilee Award, Leute Heute, Best selling classical artist ever

On his 66th birthday, October 1st 2015, André Rieu received a very special gift: A Jubilee Award for 35 million sold CDs and DVDs word wide. He was in Rome for the presentation of his new album Roman Holiday (Arrivederci Roma) with well known Italian melodies. ORF, an Austrian Television channel, broadcast a similar news program “Seitenblicke”. Click on the video below to watch this program. It is only in German, no subtitles added. The only difference with the video above is that André tells about his interest in the Romans, who built the Panteon in Rome a 2000 years ago.
